The Foolishness In Regret!

I have come to discover from personal experience and careful observation that virtually everyone has one or two things that they regret ever doing or saying. I don't think there is any normal person that does not have actions or decisions they made in the past that they somehow regret today each time they remember or think about it. However, there is a question we need to ask ourselves if we are very serious about making progress in life. Do you think that regretting something from the past is benefiting your present existence? The answer you give to the question above is very important. Most people erroneously believe that if they keep regretting their past mistakes, it will somehow make them experience relief and help their lives, but how wrong can they be! We only live once. Life is not a dress rehearsal, so there is no time to regret it. However, this does not change the fact that we still regret certain things. There are people that regret helping certain people that later pai...

BE A CHEERLEADER

I have realized from experience and careful observation that God places certain people in our lives on purpose. He does this so that we can help them to succeed and to become all that He created them to be if we are given the privilege or opportunity. The truth of life is that most people will not reach their full potential without somebody else believing in them and giving them the necessary push. There are people that would have given up on life or resigned to a bad fate if someone somewhere had not encouraged them and told them they could make it. Take a good look at yourself right now. Can you still remember that difficult time in your life when it was the word of encouragement you continually heard from someone else that helped you to stand strong and eventually prevail? This simply means you and I have an assignment. Everywhere we go, we should be encouraging people, building them up, and challenging them to reach new heights and be more than what they presently are. When p...

JUST START!

I have noticed something very interesting about ants from careful study and close observation. It is that ants don't need a commander to tell them to get started. Ants have no leader to tell them what to do; they just seem to know what to do and when to do it. That is what I call initiative, which has become a scarce commodity in so many places today. There are people who do what is right and what needs to be done without being told; these are excellent people but they are few. There are people who do what is right when you tell them. These are good people but also few in number. There are people who will never do what needs to be done no matter how many times you tell them. It is a pity that the world is filled with a majority of such people. The man or woman who has made tremendous progress in life and career actually had to begin from somewhere. Such people made up their minds at one point to do what needed to be done. They started something. A wise man once said, "The begi...

LET US BE REALISTIC

Believe me, when I tell you that nothing has killed big dreams, choked great visions, and buried wonderful ideas like that above statement. A lot of sincere people exist today that could have accomplished great things for God in their generation but who sadly did not accomplish much because they were told by someone somewhere to be realistic when they shared the Divinely inspired vision burning in their hearts. To be honest, most times when we walk by faith, it seems we are not in our right senses and are out of touch with reality. If Abraham and Sarah had decided to be realistic; having a child would definitely be out of the question for them. If Mary had chosen to be realistic; the immaculate conception would have been nothing but wishful thinking. If Joshua and the Israelites had chosen to be realistic; marching around the wall of Jericho for seven days and shouting at the wall on the seventh day to bring it down was a stupid and dumb idea. Those who live by faith and God's in...

Watch Your Company This Year

The Japanese have a proverb that says, "When the character of a man is not clear, look at his friends. (Google it😊) I don't know about you but as for me in 2023, I would rather spend time with people going somewhere, than waste my precious time with those who have little or no understanding of purpose. If you are serious about pleasing God and fulfilling your divine purpose, it is essential for you to know there are some people that don't deserve your precious time. If you give them an opening, they will come into your life, destroy your dreams and distort your vision. Make up your mind that you will associate with assets this year. A person is an asset if associating with him or her is beneficial; if he or she will help you grow, perform better or make you feel good about yourself, about others, and your world. Negative people make your world small; please don't associate with them for your own good. Stay away from people who encourage you to focus on the shortcoming...
