My amusement has been heightened by the fact that many of us, once we have discovered our talents and finessed them a bit, produce something of quality and then immediately expect the whole world to come rushing for us once we have made it. We become discouraged to the point of quitting altogether when we are brought face-to-face with the inevitable lack of praise and appreciation which confronts us.
