TURN THAT CRITICISM INTO A LEARNING EXPERIENCE

I have realized from personal experience and by careful observation that criticism can be an effective learning experience. Though no one actually loves criticism, but the fact remains that you may need it for you to have a lasting success in life, career, business and whatever you are involved in. Successful people in this world are not people who avoid mistakes or errors. They are the ones who learn from them. We all make mistakes. There is no one that is above mistakes. No matter how careful and meticulous you are, there will still be one or two mistakes you will make. I learnt from diligent study that Henry Ford, in inventing the automobile, made one big mistake the first time he tried. what was that mistake? He left out the reverse gear. And guess what? He simply corrected his mistake. Thank God Ford corrected his mistake o! Can you imagine having cars today without a reverse gear? We all have some problems in responding to criticism. Criticism tends to stir up any number of stron...

PEOPLE ARE ASSETS

Your future is connected to people. You will always need people in your life. A man with money but without people is not different from a poor man. Never underestimate the importance of people. The truth is you cannot amount to anything in life without cultivating meaningful and healthy relationships. Relationship is the engine of the vehicle of life. Life has been designed to revolve around relationships. Man has been created to be dependent and interdependent in one way or the other. The devil also knows the power of right relationships; so he vehemently attacks relationships by sowing the seeds of discord, disagreement, and conflicts. One formidable weapon that the devil has used to destroy many relationships that could have been beneficial to people's lives and destinies is the weapon of offense. Please, don't allow the poisons of doubt, suspicion, resentment, bitterness, anger, hatred, envy, and unforgiveness to separate you from the most valuable commodity on earth which ...

Don't Ever Forget Them

Don't ever be in a hurry to forget those who were there for you when no one else was there. Don't ever turn your back on those who prayed for you, believed in you, encouraged you, motivated you and supported you when no one else did. Don't ever forget those who were not ashamed or afraid to be associated with you during that period of your life when you were not even too proud of yourself. Don't ever forget those who sacrificed time for you when every other person was forming busy. Don't ever forget those who saw great potential in you when you were not even sure of your own worth. Don't ever forget those who stood with you in prayer in the time of trouble. It is not a good thing for you to now despise the people who were there for you when you needed someone simply because you now feel you have arrived or have now become somebody. It is nothing but wickedness to now talk ill of the same person (s) you adored yesterday simply because in your mind, you believe yo...

Honour and Respect are two Powerful Key for your Success in Life

Honour and respect are two powerful key combinations that can open virtually any door. This is a life changing and destiny molding discovery for me on my journey towards success and fulfillment in life. It is important to know that the kingdom of God works with the principle of “keys and doors”. To open a particular door in your life you must be able to know the right key to use that will grant you access to that door. On this journey of life, you will need people to get to certain places and certain levels. In fact, life has been designed in such a way that you cannot do without people. And one of the keys that can give you access to people is the key of honour and respect. Honour means to value, esteem, celebrate, and reward excellence, usefulness, and greatness whereas dishonour means trivializing importance, usefulness, people, and values. Dishonour means to lightly esteem what should be greatly esteemed. Many people have blamed on witches and wizards what their lack of honor and r...

Navigating the Inner Compass: Gut Feeling vs. Paranoia/Trauma

We all experience that inner nudge, a subtle feeling that whispers "something's off" or guides us towards the right path. This, my friend, is intuition . It's a powerful tool, but sometimes, it can be difficult to distinguish it from paranoia or the echoes of past trauma . Honing Your Intuition: Sensitivity is a skill, not a birthright: While some may possess a natural inclination towards their gut feelings, it's a skill that can be nurtured by anyone. Pay close attention to your physical sensations around different people and situations. A knot in your stomach, a sudden chill, or a shift in your breathing can be subtle cues from your inner compass. Observe, don't judge: Notice how you feel in various environments, even if they appear outwardly pleasant. Trust these subtle signals without judgment. They are valuable pieces of information that your unconscious mind has processed, picking up on nuances your conscious mind might miss. Distinguishing the W...

Celebrate Your Own Love Story: Ditch the Comparisons and Embrace Happiness!

Image
It's easy to fall into the trap of comparing our own relationships to the seemingly perfect portrayals we see online or in social media. But remember, every love story is unique, and judging your private chapters against someone else's carefully curated highlight reel is a recipe for unhappiness. Here's why comparing relationships is pointless, and what you can do instead: 1. Comparisons are Apples to Oranges: Every couple has their own "manual" for their relationship. What works for one might not work for another. Comparing your behind-the-scenes moments to someone else's carefully crafted public image is like comparing apples to oranges. It's simply not an accurate representation of their actual relationship dynamics. 2. Focus on Your Own Growth: Instead of getting caught up in the "hate" of comparison, shift your energy towards celebrating and nurturing your own love story. What makes your relationship special? What are you grateful for? Wh...
