 WHAT HAPPENED TO THAT DREAM?

......................Real Olufemi✍️.......................
Dream, a mental picture of the future. Dream, an aspiration and ambition to be something. The truth is that everybody have a dream to be something in life. Some wants to be a doctor, lawyer, banker, a businessman, the list is endless. Infact, not wanting to be anything is still considered a dream(๐Ÿ˜‚).
Some achieve theirs in their life time, while some don't. Go to the cemetery you will see great men and women who could not achieve their dreams during their time on earth. The big question here is, why? What happened on the way to success?
The major factor behind why many people won't or did not achieve their dream, is focus. I talked so much about this in my past write-up on all my social media platforms. Don't loose the focus'. My point of emphasis is enticement. Why enticement you may ask.
One of the greatest trick the devil can play on you is to entice you. Many persons had great dreams to do big things but little could achieve it, because the enticement of the devil got them swayed. A young man wanted to marry a young lady, he made proposals but the lady despised him because he was not buoyant enough. She forgot this young man had good prospect. She went ahead, got married to a guy who had enough to spend on her, only to discover the guy was not for her. The said guy she despised later made it big. She couldn't go back because it was too late. She lived the rest of her life in regrets.
You don't have to sleep with that man to get that job. A little patience and you will get that job of your dreams. You don't have to scam or reap people off their money through tricks. That's very common with the Internet in use. A little persistence and you will be the controller of resources. You don't have to explore means to dethrone your boss, simply because you want to sit where he sits. Don't put blood on your hands simply because you want to achieve that dream. That's the trick of the devil, not God. Wait for your time.
When the devil tries to entice you with his dream about you, show him your dream backed by God. Whatever it is the devil wants to give you, God has plans to give you much more. The devil knows this, so he tries to entice you with a little portion of it. Turn him down when he flashes you with his enticement. Don't settle for less. Always have the bigger picture in mind. You are bigger than what you think you are.
May God grant us the grace to overlook every enticement of the devil. May He teach us to exercise a little more patience. happy new weeks.

The Painful Reality of Life: When the Rain Stops, the Umbrella Becomes a Burden

Life often teaches us some of its harshest lessons through the simplest of metaphors. Consider the umbrella, a faithful companion during a storm. It shelters us, keeps us dry, and provides comfort against the elements. But once the rain ceases, that very umbrella, so crucial moments ago, becomes a cumbersome burden. This transition captures a painful truth about loyalty and human relationships: when the benefits cease, so too does the loyalty. In our lives, many people flock to us not for who we are but for the value we bring and the benefits they can derive from us. They thrive on the opportunities, support, and advantages we offer. As long as we are useful, as long as we can provide shelter from life's storms, we are cherished and needed. But when the rain stops—when the benefits diminish—these same people often disappear, leaving us to ponder the true nature of our connections. This realization can be incredibly disheartening. We yearn for genuine relationships, for loyalty that...

My 96-Hour Goose Chase

A few days ago, I embarked on a journey I never imagined I would experience. It all started with a simple goal: to clear a small debt that had been weighing on me. I thought that taking a small loan would be the best solution to get back on my feet and settle everything. Little did I know that this decision would lead me into a 96-hour goose chase that cost me time, money, and trust. I began my search for a loan online, and after some browsing, I came across a Finance company that seemed legitimate. I reached out to them, eager to resolve my situation. After completing all the necessary forms on their website, they informed me that my credit score was low and, therefore, I wouldn't be approved for the loan unless I paid an upfront amount equal to one month's repayment (450 AED). They assured me that this amount would be refunded once the loan was processed and credited to my account. Naively, I rushed to the ATM to deposit the requested amount. Here's a breakdown of what fo...
