**Things Ladies Must Know About Guys: The Truth! **

Now, there are many things' ladies don't know about us guys. This has led to a lot of misconceptions and disenchantment from both sexes. I read a lot of comments here and realized that most ladies don't understand much about the makeup of a man. I believe that the ladies will learn a lot if they realize some basic truths about us.

1. **Men don't want only sex from you: ** Many ladies believe or think that the only thing guys want from them is sex. This is why they enter a relationship with that as the only resource they bring, hoping the guy will do anything for them as long as he's getting sex. This is wrong. Men may like sex, but it's not the only thing they want in a relationship. A guy needs a lady who will understand him, stand by him, and encourage him to reach his full potential. A lady who can come into his life and put things right, get him organized and focused, walk with him on the street, smile and laugh at his jokes, play with him, have a good time with him, love his family, and respect him as a man. Some things are just more important than sex to guys.

2. **It takes effort to woo a lady: ** Ladies, if you don't know this, know it now! It's not easy for a guy to stop a lady and share how he feels about her. It takes a lot of guts and humility to do that. Men are naturally egoistic and don't like anything that puts them down or makes them look like they're begging, especially when it comes to ladies. Understand that this is natural and not because they enjoy acting that way; it's a result of both nature and nurture. Before a guy approaches you as a lady, many things must have gone through his mind: how best to make the move, what to say, how to say it, how to smile, and all that. This could take minutes, days, weeks, or even months, depending on the guy and the urgency. Some guys go through sleepless nights thinking about how to approach a particular lady. It's not easy. And sometimes, the lady will still turn them down. Once this happens, it becomes more difficult for him to repeat the cycle again. So ladies, when a guy approaches you, please don't put him down like you usually do. Find a way to help preserve his confidence and also pay him back for his effort because it takes effort. If you don't like him, turn him down softly!

3. **Guys are more emotional than you think: ** Forget all the macho and strong man act that most guys put on the surface. Guys are much more soft and emotional than they tend to present on the outer surface, sometimes even more than ladies. We cry, we fall in love, we get depressed, we get frustrated. And the worst part is that we hardly show it or speak out for people to help. Because of upbringing, where guys are expected to absorb tension, we just bottle a lot of things up and keep dying inside. It takes a wise lady to unbottle these tensions and bring out the best in a guy.

4. **Guys like spending money on ladies: ** Yes, I said so! On the right ladies, though. Once a guy loves you, he won't mind spending his last dirham on you. A guy can buy his girl mcdonald's and go home to soak garri. It's not because he's a fool or something; it's just how he values the lady in question. Guys love with their resources and their whole heart. Unfortunately, many ladies believe that a guy who gives to a lady like that is a fool. That's why many of us now withdraw because one of the worst things you can ever do to a guy is to tamper with his ego, to make him feel like a fool when he was loving you. That's why a guy can love his girl and give her everything, even while abandoning his own family and siblings.

5. **Guys love sex: ** Yes, this is true. Guys love sex not just because they feel like loving it, but because they are wired to love it. A healthy man gets aroused even when he doesn't want to. Even when a man is sleeping, he gets aroused without realizing it. Just seeing a lady he likes can arouse a man, and that is how God made it. It's just that some guys do a good job of controlling it better than others, and you must respect those who do because it's not easy. So next time you want to know why guys like sex, I suggest you ask God!

6. **Guys are easy to manipulate: ** Guys feel that it's their duty to help ladies. Most guys would fight their fellow men just to defend a lady. I once saw a guy slap his fellow guy just because he said he would slap a lady! Guys are always the ones who compromise for ladies, and it's natural. Even in the family, guys always feel it's their duty to protect their sisters. It's easy to know what a guy likes and doesn't like, so it makes it easy to control and manipulate them by the ladies. Once you give a guy what he likes, he will do anything for you.
