It is truly not always greener on the other side.
Beatrice met her friend Favour two years after school, and Beatrice was driving a sleek Mercedes Benz. Favour went home weeping and feeling awful for herself. What she didn't know was that Beatrice had been sent to run an errand with the car.
Christine always nagged about her husband for not being romantic by not getting down to open the car door for her as Jane's husband did when he dropped her at work. Christine didn't know that Jane's husband's car was faulty and the door could only be opened from the outside.
Life does not have a universal measuring tool, so create yours and use it.
Looking at people and comparing yourself with them will never make you happy, you'd continue to have pains of what is not even real.
Matthew 6:25 said, Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes?.
Contentment is not the fulfillment of what we want but the appreciation for what we have. Be content with what you have and in everything, give thanks to God!
