FINDING A HUSBAND

Ask an average lady to define her dream husband; First, she will mention "God-fearing" in order not to sound so worldly but then she begins to add worldly requirements like "he has to be tall, handsome, rich, owns a house, has one car at least and be presentable.

If you check the number of girls saying this and the number of men that meet that standard, you will see why there is a phrase like "Husband Scarcity".

You hear girls say, "I cannot go and suffer in a man's house o." But what if from the beginning, you have everything you want and there is no suffering, but later in the marriage, the table turns around, then comes suffering? Will you run away?

No one prays for suffering, but it is better to start small and get big, than start big and get small.

The description most ladies give of their ideal man is virtually the same.

When many girls want the same kind of men and the men that fit what they want are very few, what becomes of the many other girls left without their dream men? Husband Scarcity.

In Africa, we have more women than men but to make it worse, 6 out of 10 men will only get married after 30yrs while 6 out of 10 ladies wish to get married before 30. Husband Recession.

The poor rate of marriage has become one of the biggest challenges faced by many ladies today. No prayer session in any church is complete without prayers for women seeking a husband.

One easy way to find a husband is to change your view of who a husband is. A husband is a man God made full of dreams, responsibilities, and purpose, and knowing man couldn't achieve his purpose in life without a help mate, God made the woman and gave her to him.

Marriage has never been a poverty alleviation program. It is a union of two with the same goals and mission to fulfill the will of God here on earth.

Women are home builders, not house warmers. Don't mistake a man's path for his destination. Where that guy is today may only be a route to where God has destined him to be tomorrow and the bitter truth is that you might be the tool he needs to achieve greatness. Pick up the right values today.

The Painful Reality of Life: When the Rain Stops, the Umbrella Becomes a Burden

Life often teaches us some of its harshest lessons through the simplest of metaphors. Consider the umbrella, a faithful companion during a storm. It shelters us, keeps us dry, and provides comfort against the elements. But once the rain ceases, that very umbrella, so crucial moments ago, becomes a cumbersome burden. This transition captures a painful truth about loyalty and human relationships: when the benefits cease, so too does the loyalty. In our lives, many people flock to us not for who we are but for the value we bring and the benefits they can derive from us. They thrive on the opportunities, support, and advantages we offer. As long as we are useful, as long as we can provide shelter from life's storms, we are cherished and needed. But when the rain stops—when the benefits diminish—these same people often disappear, leaving us to ponder the true nature of our connections. This realization can be incredibly disheartening. We yearn for genuine relationships, for loyalty that...

My 96-Hour Goose Chase

A few days ago, I embarked on a journey I never imagined I would experience. It all started with a simple goal: to clear a small debt that had been weighing on me. I thought that taking a small loan would be the best solution to get back on my feet and settle everything. Little did I know that this decision would lead me into a 96-hour goose chase that cost me time, money, and trust. I began my search for a loan online, and after some browsing, I came across a Finance company that seemed legitimate. I reached out to them, eager to resolve my situation. After completing all the necessary forms on their website, they informed me that my credit score was low and, therefore, I wouldn't be approved for the loan unless I paid an upfront amount equal to one month's repayment (450 AED). They assured me that this amount would be refunded once the loan was processed and credited to my account. Naively, I rushed to the ATM to deposit the requested amount. Here's a breakdown of what fo...
