I used to think that famous people were so cool when I was a teenager. My dream was to become a famous musician or entertainer and I thought stardom was the best way to live. My perception of it changed as I got older. We are all human, including celebrities. Many of them struggle with mental health issues and have experienced trauma. Yet they’re placed on a pedestal by their fans. They’re pressured to keep an image that doesn’t always represent who they truly are. Their entire lives are exposed to the world to see and judge.
